How do I pay?
We accept Venmo (mobile), PayPal, credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay — all processed securely through PayPal. Your payment goes directly to Bird Dog Scout LLC.
Is there a free trial?
Players can create a free public profile with limited features. Full access — including BDS prediction scores, coach/scout visibility, and messaging — requires a membership.
Do coaches and scouts need to pay?
Yes. Coach and scout accounts also require verification of your institutional email (.edu for coaches, official MLB domain for scouts) before your account is activated.
Can I get a refund?
We offer a 14-day refund for annual memberships if you haven't used the platform. Contact support@birddogscout.com within 14 days of purchase.
What is the BDS Prediction Score?
The BDS score (1–5 stars) is calculated from a player's athletic metrics, academic profile, level of play, and video content. It predicts the best-fit college level from NJCAA through NCAA DI. Coaches and scouts see this score alongside every player profile.
